| Type | Cultured freshwater Edison Our gold pearls are Edison pearls: freshwater pearls grown one to a mussel around a small bead, under a coat of nacre 2 mm or more thick, several times an akoya's. That slow grow-out is what lets them grow a natural gold, never dyed. Freshwater nacre is the thickest of all pearls, so they are the longest-lasting and the best for wearing every day. |

| 14k Gold Filled | A thick layer of 14k gold pressure-bonded to a brass core. The gold layer is many times thicker than plating, so it won't fade with everyday wear and can last for decades. Contains no lead, cadmium or nickel, and is safe for sensitive skin. |
| PE Fiber | The thread, knotted between every pearl. It looks identical to silk but is far stronger: silk stretches and needs restringing every few years, while PE Fiber can last for decades. |

How to measure
- Wrap a soft tape measure, or a strip of paper, snugly around your wrist just above the wrist bone.
- Mark where it meets, then lay the paper flat against a ruler.
- Add about ½ inch (1.5 cm) for a comfortable fit, or 1 inch (2.5 cm) for a looser one.

Our pearls are grown over years in freshwater farms we work with directly, then sorted strand by strand for luster, surface quality, and roundness. Fewer than 1 in 100 harvested pearls are what we consider to be "high grade" and fewer than 1 in 1,000 make our gem grade.
